Maria's moon calculation

Contrary to Maria's supposition, there aren't 13 moons to a year. A moon is about 29.5 days, so there are about 12.38 moons in a year. 5000 moons is 403 and a bit years, not 384 and a bit. She'll have to wait another 19 years.

It's a fictional story with unicorns and black lions and you're concerned about the math?
