Ghai ready to release english version of Kisna

Despite the disastrous fate of ‘Kisna’, Subhash Ghai is now preparing its English version for release abroad.

The filmmaker is currently busy with the editing, dubbing and mixing of the International version which will be far shorter than the Hindi one. With a running time of just 100 minutes, the English film will have two songs - the title track and ‘Chilman’, picturised on Sushmita Sen.

So satisfied is Ghai with the edited and abridged version that he actually professes that every filmmaker should, as a learning excercise, re-edit his film soon after release for himself .

“It´s an experience in itself,” says the showman, adding, “You often realise, how many unnecessary scenes you had retained in the released version.”
