Harwood Skate Center?
Was this a real place? If it is, where did they film it at?
sharethe movie was filmed in canada at a skate rink there which they totally re-did. so i'm assuming that there is no real harwood skate center.
i'm a mess of insecurities attention starved with a narcissistic twist<3
yep you're right, no Harwood Skate Center.. But wasn't it like a school's rink or something? If I remember correctly it was (however) originally meant for ice hockey so they had to re-do the ice to remove the ice hockey stuff from it. Correct me if I'm horribly wrong...
shareOk thanks you guys. I was just wondering because I am a Harwood, but my family is HUGE I have never even met most of them, so I was just wondering....lol

Most of the locations and company names you see in the film are named after people who were on the crew of the movie. The real location of the Harwood Skating Club is at a private school rink in downtown Toronto. The outside of the arena is in Millbrook, ON which is about a two hour drive from Toronto.
For any other references check out the credits at the end of the movie.
Ok guys, thank you for all of the info. :)
shareheyy actually the skating rink they used...was at my high school which is a private school in downtown toronto...there were trailers in our parking lots and its was craziness...but it was so cool to watch the movie after knowing where it was filmed and that i used to skate there all the time :D
shareA little off the topic, but.
Millbrook, ON is the same place where the Movie "A History Of Violence" was filmed.
Definitely no Harwood Skating Center here in Connecticut.
