is this a dance movie

I am not a dancer. I took a couple of classes in preschool and first grade, but nothing serious. My sister was always the dancer and I was the singer although I knew if I trtried,f I really wanted to, I could dance too(I think I wasn't comfortable with my body, and afraid I might fail) This movie even though it is figure skating is what I think of when I think of a dance movie. True, it's got all the Disney cliches of nerdy girl, mandatory love interest, etc, but I think it really captures what it's like to fall in love with dance, in a way other dance movies don't. You know the Step Up movies or even Center Stage, which just shows dance from the perspective of people who have trained all their lives. And in Dirty Dancing, dancing really just symbolized how Baby was growing into a different person. But Ice Princess is about someone who found performing and loved it and didn't do it to help someone or because she was falling in love with someone, she did it for herself. It made me realize how much I love and respect dance.
