I believe there was talks about a sequel and it was even in pre-production, however it was called off I guess. As I recall, like the original being released Christmas day 2004, the sequel was supposed to be released Christmas day either 2005 or 2006.

as far as the sin city stories are concerned all the stories are intertwined with each other so there are many reoccurring characters because all the stories happen within the same time frame if that makes any sence to you.......on the fat albert note i would like to see a sequel

UH, HOW BOUT NO?

This time, Effie White's gonna win.

Whitney was wrong. Children are no longer the future.

There most likely won't be a sequel since the box-office numbers weren't as high as the studio hoped for.

Fat Albert grossed nearly 49 million dollars at the US box office. That's pretty darn good. Compare it to other movies that didn't even gross 40 million at the box office. But with Bill Cosby's name connected to the movie. 20th Century Fox thought the movie was going to gross at least 65 million. But it fell just short of 50 million. And 50 million is the magic number in Hollywood. To be able to be called a big hit in Hollywood, a movie must gross 50 million dollars or more at the US box office. That's why 20th Century Fox didn't give the green light for a sequal to be made. I think Fat Albert is a great family movie and it seems to get more popular as it gets older now. The movie will be showing on TV for years to come. But there will be no sequal.

Meh. Not the worst movie to get a sequel but there's many others that deserve it more.
