I think they should make a sequel to Fat Albert. They could call it something like "Fat Albert Returns". I think it would be cool to see the bullies and enemies of Albert come through the tv also. Perhaps they could set it on a campus of a college that Dorris and Lorry would be attending. With something like Fat Albert I think the comedic possibilities are virtually endless.( I'd like to see a live action game of buck-buck) Does anyone have any ideas?

20th Century Fox gave the producers a three picture deal for the "Fat Albert" movie. The two sequels were to be made only if the first picture did well at the box office. "Fat Albert" did very well at the box office, but not great. And Hollywood looks for great. The movie grossed almost 50 million dollars at the US box office. But 20th Century Fox was looking for a much higher gross for the movie. Now they are waiting to see how the movie did in DVD and video sells. And how high the ratings are of the movie on HBO.
You just never know. You still just might see one more sequel to "Fat Albert". But I really don't think that will happen. I hope I'm wrong.
Those are some good ideas about having the bullies come through the TV too or Doris and Lauri getting sucked into the cartoon world. So many possibilities, I hope there's a sequel.

Its possible because if they did a sequel for Garfield the moive which was as bad as Fat Albert, they would do a sequel for this.
