How is this only a 4.8?

I feel like a lot of imdb voters have voted for this show based on the bad title and the trashy premise. But anyone who has seen this show cannot deny how enthralling it is. I bought a DVD bootleg copy of it several years ago, and I'll pull it out about once a year and watch it, sometimes with friends or family, sometimes on my own. Every time I watch it, I find myself on the edge of my seat, reeling with anxiety, feeling Randi's pain, laughing from start to finish, and finally choking back the tears at the last episode. If this show doesn't move you, you're not human.

I rarely watch TV, except during baseball season. The only reason I saw this 8 years ago is because my roommate at the time watched it, and I happened to see the first episode and got sucked in. I'm so glad I did. It's the best six hours of TV I've ever seen.
