The Toback Documentary was better than this movie

I believe the promise of this movie was disrupted by the 'making of' doc about Toback.. (*Not to mention a terrible Title, sketchy-casting in the minor roles and most of all, Toback's insistence at including the sub-culture of Hip-Hop characters to a story that did not need to be reduced in such a way.)

Anyone care to chime-in..

Rule #1 in filmaking - CLOSE THE SET...........!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. I loved the documentary. I hated the movie for the most part. Pretty pretentious and boring stuff.

Ding ding ding! As out of place when Tyson appeared... I thought that was bad enough but that other crap about the rappers was the worst. It's a shame Uncle Jr. had to be a part of this monstrocity.

Toback is certainly talented and orginal and i'm a fan of both Harvard Man, Pick up artist, and esp. two girls and a guy. This dude needs to start bringing something more substancial. BTW, i thought Lori petty was daryl Hanna.

But yeah, the doc was better than the picture

Its was Lori Singer, not Petty..

ps. This was way better than Harvard Man.

but we all have our own opinions
