They don't make these kind of movies anymore

Good fighting scenes, but they could have used more realistic sounds. Also I agree that the enivitable circle jump kick is annoying.
For being an old fashioned beat 'em up movie, I think that the story is quite good. When I was a boy, they made these films all the time, and I of course watched them all the time. Why don't they make them anymore? My guess is, that they have absolutely no appeal to women, and therefore doesn't get a big audience. Face it guys, women dictate the movie business, while we are playing computer games or playing poker, or doing any other of the wide range of guy-stuff, they are watching films. And if we invite them to the movies, we let them choose. Anyhoo, I will rate it 9, cause, they just don't make these movies anymore, and with a low budget in mind, I think it was a great movie.
Can anyone recommend similar movies??

i completely agree with you - they used to make films like this all during the 90's and even though they arent well received, they just rock. I know this wasnt what you were looking for, but what movies were youre favorite?

Haha yeah i know.
Certainly not what i was looking for indeed but one of my old school favorites are No retreat no surrender!
It was the sh*t! in a positive way!

Thank GOD they don't make these kind of movies anymore! These stupid movies are for morons who like to see people get killed or hurt (because they themselves are losers). The SOUND effects during the fighting scenes were RIDICULOUS (since when does it sound like a WHIP when you kick someone??) Or that speeding air sound they use. The worst part of this movie: THE EXTRAS. They sucked.

WTF? You were saying exactly the same thing for BOTH Shootfighter movies. Why the HELL do YOU watch so many movies that PISS you off SO much? Why don't YOU spend more time watching DISNEY films and less TIME capitalizing random words in frustration?
