Hong Kong in 2043 in retrospect

Wow, what a concept. The Netflix blurb is misleading as most of them are - written by someone who hasn't seen the actual film and is bluffing.

But the film is amazing in reach -- imagining their original heroine over 80 years old, but thanks to plastic surgery looking youthful. The first 40 minutes deals with SARS being remembered as an epidemic. Kum, the main character is a wonderful human being. It imagines a world with one pill sufficient to cure the worst diseases including cancer. I sincerely hope the writer lives another 40 years to experience the reality.
