first off its a dumb question and everyone asks it as if its original and thought provoking.
the thing is that at least for me, i dont high five guys on when they have a lot of sexual partners. in fact i look down on it.
sure maybe a lot of men do think its respectable but you cant generalize everything.
its just as low when a guy sleeps around a lot as it is when girls do.

shareIt is a stupid question because it's based on an assumption that is misrepresented as fact. Sexual past effects both males and females negatively. I somehow doubt my girlfriend's father would say "way to go!" if I told him about my sexual past. Same goes for her friends, male or female. It's a subject that I tend to avoid when I'm out on dates or in a professional atmosphere because it could reflect on me poorly. Sure, I talk about it when I'm with my friends but women do this too.

A truly clicheed question which women always ask.
Of course there´s a double standard! There should be. Men and women are not the same. Women have a lot of advantages in other areas. In this country for instance, if there´s a divorce and one kid and they both want the kid, unless the woman is a serial killing drugdealer, she will get the kid. Women and men will never be on equal terms in every area of life.
By the way, I think a man who´s with a lot of women is disgusting but I´ve come to expect that. A woman doing the same is disgusting AND disappointing because they´re normally so much better than men in the sexual morals area (men have none) and should respect herself and never try to emulate male behaviour. Stone me for being oldfashioned.

Why? I'll tell you why. Look at lions. The male has sex with the females, the females don't go around having sex with various males. So, males are made to have sex with multiple females, women are meant to try to get married, that's about it. I have to admit, I said "ew" in my mind knowing my gf had sex with other guys, but that's me. :) And, I live in NJ, noone near "North Country", this is my opinion of how it works.
Girls that try and pickup guys are disguisting, that goes for "easy" girls, as well. That's called not respecting yourself, and why would I find a girl like that attractive? Not any guy with any sense would. Men are supposed to try to date females, females should stay conservative, sex only after marriage. I'm in my early twenties, so don't think I'm some old man when I say that, and I'm pretty much Atheist lol, but still, you don't need to be a god-worshipper to believe in marriage.
The males that "have sex alot" [as you say] are actually 'alphamales' and, basically, the girls that are all over them want the genes. Get it? I think that bars are stupid, so, if you want STD's, go there.
If some girls want to sleep around, then whatever, i don't think its a good thing, but if you want to do it, who cares what guys think, when some of them do it.
Even though the guys that do sleep around don't call themselves sluts, if girls that do it are, then guys are too. They just call themselves a different name.
