Taylor, Caine Or Grissom?

Hey there so I'm watching some CSI New York as it seems to be my favorite but I have watched the other CSI shows which makes me ask: who was the most popular between the three main stars? Obviously I don't think ray or D.B are horrible in fact I'm a big Ted danson fan probably more than any other actor and he seems to make the role his own but Grissom made the role And was the role for the longest time but for me I like mac from new York.

Why? He seemed to be more understanding and caring, he wanted to help people and he cared about his friends but also catching murders And what not. The original CSI started off very strong but soon every episode became the same.

Gil for me lacked that human emotion And he cared more about science than anything. It is a good show but very hard to follow when your main lead doesn't have any emotion.

There are a few times he did but for me he just was very blah. Caine is my third choice mostly because I don't watch CSI Miami that much but he seemed like mac, a cop first a scientist second. Anyways what is your guys favorite lead actor of these shows?

reply

Gil Grissom was a complex character. I wouldn't say he didn't have emotions. I would say he didn't express them very well. He was sort of awkward in that way. Icant stand Horatio. So I pick Gil and Mac second by default.

Taylor, there´s no doubt about that! He can be tough when he needs to be and warm and caring in between. He is also played by the best actor of those three. I don´t mind Grissom, but I don´t quite understand him. Caine - no thank you! I only watched CSI Miami for a few episodes, I couldn´t stand the bad acting! The guy who plays Caine only has two expressions - with or without sunglasses...!

reply

I can't bear CSI: Miami purely because of Caruso's horrendous acting as Horatio Caine. I wonder if anyone has ever counted the number of times he 'dramatically' put on and took off his sunglasses throughout the entire series over the years. Now, there 's an actor who's head is up his own backside!

reply

All three are gods. All CSI bosses are awesome except for the Matrix guy.

reply

Yeah. I don't like the Black guy, either. Mac is the best.

Gil Grissom was awesome the show hasn't been the same since he left. But Mac Taylor though is my fave coming from NYC I love the shots of the city also. I too can't stand Horatio way over dramatic the way he always stands sideways and looks down makes me laugh.

reply

Taylor and Grissom, definitely for me.

Caine is just too unbelievable. For his lowly position, they expect me to believe he can browbeat the mayor or even foreign diplomats ? If this happened in real life, he would have been reassigned already.

Grissom

Taylor

Caine

^ Is the correct order! ^.

I'll put-up a new signature when I'm good and ready...

reply

Taylor, Grissom, More Taylor, Then Caine...and I MISSED the last few seasons of CSI:NY.

I actually liked CSI better after Grissom left. His character - to me - had no depth, very one dimensional and cold.

Caine.... well, what can you say.... while some of the episodes were good, he almost became a cartoon character.... it was painful to watch.

Taylor.... all the way. Cared about his staff, got pissed off when he needed to but was always there for them....

I liked Mac the best, I'd say he was the most realistic of the three. Grissom was the ultimate cool guy. As for the other one, see the video link, my ranking, and my signature below. 

So in order:
Mac
The cool guy
Everyone that has ever been on a reality show
The sunglasses dude

Dean: I am wearing sunglasses at night. You know who does that? No-talent douche bags!

Mac. Gary Sinise is a great actor and humanist. And he gave life to Mac. Mac is a great character (as the other members of the team of CSI : NY).
