How about a movie?

They made a tie in Veronica Mars movie seven years after the series had ended. Now they are shooting season five of Prison Break, even though the show was officially canceled in 2009. They should really make a CSI New York movie, a deserving finale to the show.

Or you could, you know, get a life, VeggieIII.

I actually really like that idea... I do wish they would make a proper finale for the show, it could be a movie or a special episode whatever, I don't really mind, just as long as it's a proper send off for the show...the actual finale was disappointing and fell short of my expectations.
But I highly doubt they would do it though, it just seems CSI:NY has ended for good...if only...

Post-series TV-movies, generally known as reunion movies, were common in the '80s and '90s. It was done with a lot of TV shows, including (but certainly not limited to): Gilligan's Island, The Brady Bunch, The Incredible Hulk, Perry Mason, Kojak, The Rockford Files, Growing Pains, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman, and Gunsmoke. Although reunion movies are not as common these days as they were back then, a post-series CSI: NY movie is not necessarily out of the question. If one were to happen, though, it would more likely be a made-for-television movie, like the vast majority of reunion movies.

I would love it if they did a movie to officially end the series.
I think it should be Mac's wedding with all of his friends there. Also Stella should return for the wedding.

The way they ended the series with Mac getting engaged wasn't good enough.
