I love Sonic, but I've seen mixed reviews for this game (and the bad camera, but thats something common in all Sonic Team games) is it really worth getting? I haven't played Sonic Adventure as well, if I need to play that as well (never owned a Dreamcast)

shareYou didn't read his commment. The PS2 VERSION (read, VERSION) is the lowest in quality. The frame rate is slow and choppy and character renders are poorly designed and jagged. The GameCube and Xbox versions have no noticeable differences besides a few special bonuses that were left out on the GC system to save space. If you can, get it for either GC or XB. XB feels like a Dreamcast controller anyway. I personally would get (and have gotten) the GameCube version, simply because GC's already plays my copies of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, Sonic Mega Collection, and Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut, I figured keep 'em all on the same system. But if that doesn't matter to you, just get either the GC or XB version.

I have it for GC as well as Sonic Adventure 2: Battle and Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut, it rocks!
(I don't have Sonic Mega Collection because a majority of the games it has on it are games I own for PC)
PS2 is good if u have the money tom get loads of games AKA if u are spoilt rotten, but they do not have better graphics than the Ganecube. If I was u, I would either get it for Xbox or GC.

I think it's good. The controls are easier to handle on the Gamecube/Xbox versions, though, so if you have one of the other systems, too, maybe opt getting it for one of those. ^___^;;

shareI have PS2 and GameCube. I have played both versions and the PS2 version is obviously slower and weaker graphics. But try it out anyway.
shareI had the GameCube version, but I lost it. Glad that I at least had that copy of the game, especially since I'm one of the few people who enjoy the game.
