I'm a fan of Theroux's documentaries but this one in particular blew me away. It actually revealed the hypocrisy -- or at least how a racist leader still has to interact with other races in every day life -- without beating you over the head. I like Theroux's style, of letting others talk, usually not interuppting them, and he doesn't do the thing where he introduces people constantly with white subtitles. He respects the viewer's intelligence.

Some of the "Skinheads" made interesting remarks, some even had a few correct thoughts, but most were just so misguided and ill-informed as to be sad. You can tell Louis respects their viewpoints UP TO A POINT -- why else would he stay in their houses and stuff... he's pretty upfront about where he disagrees. And in a weird way, everyone got along. It was an odd watch, but it felt honest and real, unlike what most docs would do with this subject matter.

Those poor little girls, though.. they were so talented.... I guess they'd be 19-ish now, right? I wonder what happened with them.
