I guess I had the wrong mindset when renting this. I thought it was gonna be a high action thriller. But I was wrong, this movie has to have some of the worst acting ever. Was the writer trying to make this a comedy? Horrible acting and horrible dialogue.

shareI agree with you 100%. I don't understand how people payed money to have this movie produced, and how it has not caused debt to everyone involved in it. It would have been better if the plot was better organized, and if the director made it less corny.

You think it was marketed wrong in the US, you should see the Japanese video jacket: a jumbo jet smashing its wing into an office building as it descends onto a busy NYC street--as it's being struck by lightning--over the title "Airport '04." (Yes, this is one of those movies that sits on a shelf for years because no one wants to touch it. They always get released overseas first.)
I feel sorry for the suckers renting THAT.
The main kid really annoyed me.

It felt like some of the actors weren't taking it seriously.
shareI think Disney should remake it. They always are able to make kid movies suspensful and have the right elements to make it entertaining for BOTH children and adults. Let's hope some Disney associate sees this and decides to take some elements of the plot and rework it in a REAL action movie.
