Didn't they say at the beginning of the movie that the cop's gun only had eight bullets in it. The gun is fired more times than that. Like he shoots at the door at least two times, then again at least four from what I remember when they thought someone might be coming for the girl with the bracelet on her leg.

So that's six...then there's at least three other shots, the French guy getting shot by the priest, then the priest shooting the other French guy strangling the trendy type girl, then the French guy getting the gun and shooting two people, the priest and the girl...maybe he shot three people, actually...

Well, anyway, given that last shot, it would have been about ten bullets to my knowledge, maybe 11 or more. That number is way over 8...I kept waiting to hear the gun just click, but it never did.

If anyone can actually remember if the number of bullets is mentioned or how many bullets the cop's gun would normally have...let me know.

Still wondering why the cop just didn't empty out the gun in the first place. Then no one could have used it.

I was wondering why he didn't empty it out as well. Especially since from the beginning he took the path of "No one is dying here, we're all getting out together." So you would think he would do that right away just to prove to everyone that he's serious about it and no one should even be thinking about taking his gun from him and starting some problems.

There were toilets in each of the rooms, and they seemed to work. He could have flushed the bullets down. But in the end, he wanted to be in control, so he kept it. Not sure about how many bullets were fired, but I also thought it seemed like way too many.

A standard weapon of this kind holds 15-17 bullets. i don t remember officer stating he only had 8.
Also, the officer shot the window 3 times and the roof (for sound) 4 times, that makes it 7.

Then priest shoots the French guy with blue shirt with one bullet. Then he shoots another French guy with one bullet. The French with blue shirt takes the gun and shoots the girl and father. Makes it 11 bullets in total.

I just watched the movie and they said that it had 11 bullets. If you remember, after he fired 3 bullets into the wall at the beginning, the rapper made a point that he still had 8 bullets left, which would be enough for the 8 others.

They may have said, the French guy and the wannabe gangsta may have said, but the cop never did.

Besides, he may have had another clip. I'm not about to search the movie for it, but I thought we saw a scene where he was inserting a clip into the gun. Maybe that was a new one?
