If you was Gracie would have made the same choice?

If you was in Gracie's shoes would you have made same choice she did? Just think she gave up her boyfriend, having the chance to be a real teenager, and college parties all to raise a family (her brothers that is). Anyways, I have a brother and sister (they are younger) they grown now 18 and 20, I'm 25 now, but if this was 6 years ago and I had to make that choice I would do it. I would raise my little brother and sister on my own.

If I were the oldest I would most definitely make the same choice.

I'm the youngest child my mother had. My brother, who is in no way considered responsible, is the oldest. I know for a fact that he would never be able to do what Gracie did. However I do have two younger half-brothers. One is 6, the other 4. My littlest one has Angelman's Syndrome, which would be an added hardship. However I know for a fact I would do whatever possible to keep all of my family together. I would take care of ALL my siblings. And I think I would do it well. As it is now, I honestly do take care of myself. I believe I could do what Gracie did. I've always been told I would be an excellent mother. I think I could do it. I'm 16.

Yes I would. I love my two younger brothers.

Yep, I'd do it in a heartbeat! Gracie (real name Amy) is a courageous young lady and an inspiration!

It would absolutely NOT be easy as I know from seeing my mom picking up the pieces after my brothers' father left, but if I was in that situation and I thought I could do it, I absolutely would...I'm about 5 years older than one brother and 7 years older than my other brother, so when I was Amy's (Gracie) age, my brothers would have been 11 and 9 and I would have moved heaven and earth to make sure they were taken care of.

Yes I would, that's blood. Would you be able to live with yourself knowing what the foster care system is like and knowing that they would be better off with you? In Gracie's case that's all she knew, she was their mother for all intents and purposes.

I can't be judged until I am in the situation, but I like to think I would have made the same choice. I don't have any siblings, but a few younger cousins that I love just as much. There isn't anything I wouldn't for them and I know that for a fact.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. Family is family and I would do whatever it took to keep us together...
