Who was that other lady?

She was fascinating to watch but seemed more like an android to me. In fact I expected that to be the twist ending, that he would take her in to get her joints greased or something. An android that was learning how to feel. That is what it seemed to me.

The screenplay was confusing to me. Rip Torn's character had a "wife" and a "lover" and I don't know if they were the same person (wife and lover) and then next thing you know he's proposing marriage to the Russian sweetheart without getting a divorce first.

All kinds of weird complications with people I really didn't like. I was fascinated by the woman (whose thighs are in separate zip codes). She is very watchable and could be a major movie star if given the right roles. She doesn't even have to know how to act. She's that watchable. But this film really sucked to me.



Criticism is hard to take, particularly from a relative, friend, acquaintance or stranger.
