Considering non of the cast are actors

Considering non of the cast are actors, I think they did a pretty good job of playing themselves. Have you ever goofed round with a camera and tried to stage a scene? Normal people stare at the camera, become self-conscious, giggle, and deliver lines like a frozen robot. I appreciate they kept the scenes simple, men sitting at bar talking, men sitting at beer counter talking, men stood at counter talking, men crouched round dead dog talking, etc, but they were all natural.

The message that man is the great controller and it is 'HE' who keeps nature in check was a little heavily played and questionable... for it to make sense and the hunted species to prosper like was said, the trappers would need to be killing the maim, sick, weak and old. This would preserve the prime animals to mate.

Do hunters take the less able animals? You'll have to presuede me on that one.

This turned into a mini-review, appologies.
