What exactly is Tallis?

I've seen this movie about three times, and each time I always seem to miss something regarding what Tallis is and why it is the only material in the world that can hurt and kill Lilith? Help anyone?

from my memory Tallis is a form of uncorrupted good ( as such as Lillth is the queen of evil and mother of all succubi and incubi accordig to legend)
but thats my 2 cents

If I was around to watch the gods dance i'd be a much more depressed person....

hehe; I know this was asked back in Feb 2007 but Darklight was just on Sci-Fi, I'm watching it while typing actually, so I thought I would help give an answer if your still curious.

Tallis, as mentioned briefly in the movie, is a tree that is dated back to the Garden of Eden. Tallis, which can also be speled as Tallit, is usually the given name for the Tree of Life, and with that in mind, it is why it is the only substance that can hurt Lilith - it is a pure element of life and even older then her.
