What about a carmageddon movie? (screenplay inside!)

Never thought about makin' a movie of carmageddon, a serious movie,
possibly horror, in a postapocalyptic era (like near today, with actual
cars modified for killing and destroying with lots of HP)...with great effects,
and camerawork, and story, I think it could be great... in nowadays they
do movies from much games...most of them are crap. Take for example
the tomb rider movie...or resident evil...I don't want people ruin this
idea with things like that...I want a real movie not a comercial alla the Fast&Furious (BAd cgi in there by me...I mean expecialy in the second movie:))!

So here I've made some movie-script, hope you'll enjoy reading it as I enjoyed writting it ;)

First some facts I would like to tell...

It must not be a TDR2000 movie definetly...
I personally think that TDR2000 is the worst carmageddon game ever. And neither has to be related to the game (the whole thing about the idea of adding points, for killing people)And there shouln't be any zombies either, 'cause I prefer people instead. I Also don't like much the idea of chainsaws and other non crash-resistant gadgets...And I don't think it would be too violent for viewing, because there are many horror fans that laugh even the most gore/horror films out there... I wrote something like a storyline, I wrote this in a relatively short time, so don't get mad if sometimes the script is hard to follow, or has plotholes, or errors, anyway i tried to NOT make it look comercial, in a way,...I also apologise for my non-perfect english (I'm from Europe)...

It's the year 2005-2006...
The world barely survived a nuclear war, or a meteorite fall or something apocalyptic...it's post-apocalyptic time infact (just to be in theme with carmageddon). It could be also in a pre-apocalyptic era...but for now, let's just say it's post-apocalyptic era. The Movie starts off with the story about a group of psychos with teppistic behaviour (about 35-45 yrs old). They are living on the edge and doing everything (killing included) for get money, to waste later on drugs, whores, and alcohol…:)
(that's the only reason why are they together; Teamwork) ... One of the psychos was a briliant mechanic at his younger age, but after an incident with his some kind of powerful car, from the 90's like Nissan 240SX (I really like japan cars) or something, of course modified by his genious mind, modified for racing, not killing, of course (we got to keep to tis fact to make it more realistic here for the begining and then gradually fall into the madness...) while at some dangerous drift, when drifting amazingly
(like in the Initial D anime series :)), you know drifting at high speed is the top-fun entertainment for a person with high level in driving skills) felt off the edge of the road down a cliff (by not his fault, there must be an external fault cause he's too great)...And so he was found dead/alive..or to say in a coma, when he awakened (6 years later) he didn't remembered anything of what happened before, and gradually his memory returned... but he didn't want to race anymore, cause after the incident he was scared by speed…
Infact one night, when the psychos were running at high speed with some stolen car (something strong like... for example a jeep), the mechanic covered his eyes, started screaming and kikcking around, almost getting all of them killed, but they really didn't care about getting killed, 'cause they're psychos :), but of course they didn't like his behaviour, so they started a fight and of course, kicked him out of the car...and then enjoying further their psycho-driving with minor-crashing the car in various places, just for few spectacular scenes...(The jeep can take more damage than an normal, or a sports car).
The driver of the psycho gang is an racing-appasionate, so he's very good at driving, he is also totally alergic to cops, he hates them as much he hated his mother, for giving him birth to him, into this screwed world (btw, she disappeared in misteryous circumstances)...he has already killed some cops, and noone knew it was him, somehow he escaped from the evidence... so back to the story...
They run at high speed past some cops that were patroling the area, than begins the chase...(the chase is spectacular with great FX, and camera work able to keep you on the edge-of-your-seat, they also could perfectly run over a cat or a dog..to add more realism, and/or splatter elements :)) the cops are still chasing the jeep, but the jeep is faster and the driver is more skilled, even if he's a psycho...so when he had almost lost the tail, (I like to imagine this scene in a smoothly slow-motion effect) he pulled the handbrake, turned at 180 degrees and dangerously pumping up the gas (zoom on the smoke- producing rear right wheel during the 180 degree turn), he felt the adrenaline in his veins,rage and anger in his heart, (the zoom shows a little glow in his eyes, and a gentle smile on his face) he had a strong feeling of pre-sadisfaction,and then the camera shows the other psychos totally not knowing what he's about to do, except one, that clearly shows that he's aware of what's going on, but he can't do anything except ''watch them die'' like he was paralysed with fear...
...so back to the action :) he pulled the handbrake and dangerously pumped up the gas and holding it until the machine was having extreme high RPM (to feel also the rage of the machine) driving at this very high speed towards a straight lane, and on the other side of the lane there were these cops coming towards the psychos... you know, the classic scene, but this time instead of both cars avoiding each other, as we see usually, we see the jeep (the jeep could be too tall, I realised now) crashing at full speed into the police car, smashing it destructivetly and with no mercy. With a aproximately high speed rate the remains of the police cars flew away, recoiling form building to building, until they finally stopped...The psycho-driver wakes up after a 2-minute coma laying with his face on the steering wheel, of course, bleeding. All other psychos are in middle/bad health conditions, so the driver walks out of ''his'' semi-destructed, smoking Jeep, he barely walks to the remains of the police car, seen in distance, even if he's suffering, he's enjoing his pain, so he could do it, he could reach the relics. Once at the relics of the car he finds some remains of the cops... he tears off the distincive from one corpse raising it up to the red sky and shouting something like GOT YOU!, or just shouting AAAARGH, no matter, it's a sign of high satisfaction. Then he walks away and gets another car ...I don't know what methods he could use to steal cars, I guess the wire-trick...Well he does not care much about his ''friends'' and dissapears in the distant horizon...Somehow the other psychos carried each one home or anywhere they would have gone...They were helping each other, stealing another car, perhaps. The psycho-driver is the most heartless and egoistic of them, menwhile the others like to be together to do more teamwork or simply like wolfs... solitary but when they attack, they are not alone.
Let's go back to the poor kicked out mechanic now... remember? He was kicked out of that car, due his screaming-like-a-girl behaviour :)...He thinks now that the ''psycho-team'' doesn't need him anymore (he is extremly psycho-labile),he feels useless, empty, broken down, so he decides to go underground, exactly 6 feet under. in other words he's about commiting a suicide, so when he was taking a bath...he grabs a knife and cuts his wirsts,...the warm water enchances the blood flow.. so now he's slowly dying as he feels his life fading away, he feels regret and sorrow, about a lost dream, about his favourite thing in life...mechanics and racing... he realised that all he ever wanted to do was mechanics and racing, so he couldn't give up like this (seems that due the excessive blood loss something provoked in him some kind of awareness about life and the meaning of it) so he gets somehow out from thebathtube with his last strenght, and covers his wirsts with a bandage or with some sheets. the camerais showing him sitting on the floor of his apartment, facing an empty wall...and then shows a little smile on his face, then he gets up, opens the door and goes downstairs. Meanwhile, the camera focuses on the psycho-driver, who is running along a big desert, a straight road, that never ends, destroying
everything he finds on his path, animals,or what else, i don't know :) however, something has changed in him, he is in some kind of trance, driving at full speed, almost completely unaware of his sorroundings, except for his instinctive driving...with an permanent orgasmic smile printed on his face since that moment (his status was a result of a mixture of various drugs in combination with hyper-big-doze of adrenaline he felt in the slow-motion moment, remember?)...Lets just leve him alone for now...Back to the mechanic, he walked down the stairs, ...the camera shows him from behind working on some engine of his horse-mid-powered car. As a result of his understandment before, he's modifying now the machine to become a real powerfull machine in combination with some old parts of various powerful machines, that he left untouched in his garage for years, exactly since he awakened from the
coma. After finished his work, he goes for a ride, he's also a good driver, (due his fear of speed he still can't show his skills performed at high speeds), then gradually he adapts himself again to high speed, not just this, also, he's enjoying it now!...Days passes by and the mechanic recieves a visit from the psycho-driver who is absolutely excited about the mad idea of getting police cars smashed. As a result of the previous crash, the jeep didn't survived, and the psycho-driver noticed that they survived just because the jeep had these steel rollbars, expecialy on the front of the car, that softened the crash. So he decided to ask the mechanic to help him to reinforce his brand-new-stolen vehicle (A Black Honda S2000) with some steel, and titanium or whatever, something that's crashproof :)
(We believe, that the psycho-mechanic at this point will reject the idea, but he's a psycho he likes the insane, he likes high speed again, so what does he have to loose? And afterall he thought ''if I had reinforcements on his car the (240SX) when I felt off that cliff, I would be still normal now, maybe leading a normal life, with a girl/wife or family perhaps''). So he decided to help the psycho-driver... Ok let's leave the storyline for now...
You probably think what the hell has to do the other psychos with that movie? I tell you now : they are in the movie so later we can get more Carmageddon like cars, and if I didn't mention driving over people even once, I still mean it, there should be a lot of run-over-people scenes,
those are the people who simply get in the way or are in a wrong place at a wrong time :)
