So, which Pixar short do you think is best?

I'm curious about this one. I've seen countless debates about which of their features nabs the crowning glory, but hardly anything on these little shorts. Well, remember it was originally the little shorts that got them where they are today, and they do have a slightly bigger range of these than they do feature films.

Here's the current list, in order of production:

The Adventures of Andre and Wally B (1984)
Luxo Jr (1986) - Shown before Toy Story 2
Red's Dream (1987)
Tin Toy (1988) - Features on the Toy Story DVD
Knick Knack (1989) - Shown before Finding Nemo
Geri's Game (1997) - Features on A Bug's Life DVD
For the Birds (2000) - Shown before Monsters Inc
Mike's New Car (2002) - Features on the Monsters Inc DVD
Boundin' (2003) - Shown before The Incredibles

Personally I gotta go with Geri's Game myself - it's an enjoyable and inventive short, and the editting is just great. Honorable mention has also gotta go to Red's Dream (when are Pixar gonna give that one some spotlight?) and Luxo Jr (it's simple but it works).

Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It's fun to be a vampire.

If "Knick Knack" was that short with the snowman, then I liked that one best. But "Boundin'" was so cute and funny as well. ^^

I only saw it yesterday but I like this one as much as Mikes New Car,For The Birds or Knick Knack, the latter is my favourite because of the Bobby McFerrin song on the soundtrack.

What aout Jack-Jack Attack? That was great! Though my favourite will forever be, Luxo, jr.

Geri's game without a doubt. All of their short films are great, but I think this one has the most interesting story.
Second, would say knick knack as it does the most with very little

Geri's game.

I also liked Jack-Jack attack but it looked too much like a 5 minute "bonus scene" than an actual short. I wish it was in the Incredibles from the beginning. People would have remembered it as one of their favourite scenes.

I liked Jack Jack attack too, but I don't think it would have fit well in the actual movie. Only places it could go are: on the jet when Helen called the babysitter or during or shortly after she listened to the messages. Either way, it would have detracted from the flow of the story line.

Bounder was good too. I liked the message: we all need to be reminded sometimes not to judge people and that when we're down, we need to keep going. And the Dr. Seuss-like rhymes were funny

Jack-Jack Attack was the extended version of a deleted scene in "The Incredibles". My favorite is Tin Toy, then Luxo Jr.

The Godfather Part II:Greatest Ever

Der Fuhrer does not say "Achtung, baby".

Without a doubt ... Geri's Game!! The first Pixar short I'd seen, and it blew me away. The story's rich, genuine, and heart felt.

Without a doubt Geri' Game.

I like the one when the birds are on a cableline and a fat bird goes on it and all the other birds loose their feathers. LOL
