Am I wrong or same ship and main premise as Defying Gravity?

I just got done watching the one and only first season of Defying Gravity. Then somehow I found the Space Odyssey.. Been looking for BBC related space shows.. And notice the same ship and same setting.. Same names etc.. must be a write up on it in wiki I bet.. should have probably looked before I posted about it.. Just looked on wiki.. The show was in fact inspired by this show. that explains a lot..

But in any case.. Don't miss Defying Gravity(BBC) although all american accent. Just looked on Wiki.. apparently a co-joint production of bbc and abc, nbc. etc. etc..

I really loved the show.. Only got a 7 on IMDB,, which surprised me.. It was very well done and even though it was some what of a journey of human experience coinciding with a voyage to the planets sci fi experience; it was done in a way "at least to me" that painted a very real picture of how people really are in life". NOt some jacked up hollywood version of how people inter relate. It was really a great change of pace from typical sci fi trying to be to much action or such as in the case of that rediculous reboot attempt of stargate universe. That show was nothing more than a bent left commercial for life the way that "liberals" see it should be. They failed to realize there are just as many conservatives as there are liberals in the world. How about giving each a fair shot at being real.. any way I digress..

Check out Defying gravity if you are looking for some sci fi that is pretty well done. Good acting for sure too. And for the most part pretty clean entertainment..
