He battled cancer for two years. :(

Really sad to hear his passing. The Trap Door was one of my favourite shows as a kid. Terry was a master of clay animation.

That is sad. I loved trapdoor, it was one of the programmes i enjoyed watching with my oldest son in the 80s, it was so funny,and the animation was so clever.
