Similar Show...

Anyone remember another short stop animation show, with two characters, one was orange and one was a greenish color. I don't think either one of them ever actually spoke. The episodes couldn't have been more than a couple of minutes long. I remember watching them about the same time I watched Trap Door.

it could of been stopit and tidyup i think that what it was called but they where more red and blue

reply

Nope, not it. Maybe I lived in my head as a child.....man. I didn't think I was *THAT* crazy.... :|

reply

I was going to suggest Stoppit and Tidyup too but then I went and looked at pictures of them and I didn't think they looked right for your description. I'm American so I doubt I've actually seen the show you're trying to remember. :P

Ooooh Stoppit and Tidyup - oh the memories. I remember the show you are talking about but I can't for the life of me remember it. I don't remember anything except grunting and noises from the ickle characters? If of course I am thinking of the right show.

OMG. That's it. You're thinking of it! >.< Ack. I'm not insane! It's a MIRACLE. haha If you think of it, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD POST IT!!! I have hunted EVERYWHERE to find the name of it. I've even asked my old friends..apparently I'm the only one that remembers watching it. Right. Liars. Oh yeah, sorry I'm on a different name, didn't mean to confuse anyone. :)

It could have been morph you are talking about.

He was made of plasticine and had a couple of minutes show time on Hartbeat, which was an artists show with tony hart.

He didn't talk but made noises.

sorry to confuse the thread but anyone remember the name of another similar show filmed in a back garden? there was a ladybird, worm (the worm had a big red nose), spider (charater called harryachnid i think), snail, beetle, etc. it wasn't really clay animation though, although it was similar.

reply

it may have been called 'creepy crawlies'?!

bossspearman, check out this site. It's pretty cool to take a visit down memory lane, although I still can't find the name of the show that is bugging us both. http://www.80snostalgia.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=60

reply

sorry but that site is seriously lacking in content (the more obscure stuff is completely missing) and even after a brief search i found loads of inaccurate details! for example, 'space sentinels' is not an 80's cartoon. there are much better retro kids tv sites out there.

Creepy Crawlies 1985 - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0313054/

It had a beetle character in it called Lambert. That's about all I remember really.

Red & Blue?

dose anyone remember a cartoon where the main character was a green blob type thing and he lived under a bed. His girlfriend was a rag doll and his best friend was a blue blob that lived in the bathroom. At the end of every episode they would sing a song in what was supposed to be a bar.
I remember it so well and yet I can't for the life of me remember the name of it
It was on years ago
Can anyone help?
