How Come
....they don't use that light thing on the sheets anymore? I only watch this show every now and then but I haven't seen them using that light in while.

They could have found that it grossed the audience out. Or, it could have been too embarrassing for the contestants. Or, the handheld machine could have been expensive and delicate and after a few episodes, it started not working well so they just stopped using it.
