Anybody else watch this?

This show is great! How come noone else ever seems to know about it?!

I saw this show about 2 years ago. I was very much into the first few episodes then I lost interest eventually. The concept with the criminals who were in prison getting their heads replaced with the heads of animals was very interesting. Also, the episode with Claire Leonelli controlling the stock market had one of the best fights in the series!

I've wanted to watch it, but alas, I'm lazy and cheap.

I think I used to have a purpose, but that might've been a dream

I was channel flipping and started to watch MTV2 i think that's what it was and loved it!Daisuke aurora is awesome

I would catch this show every so often on MTV2. I never managed to catch the beginning or the end of any of them, but I thought the animation was interesting and thought it odd that MTV would air quality programming.

This is defiently one of my favorite shows. I caught it on MTV2 (one of the only good things mtv has ever shown) and saw 2 episodes. Needless to say somehow I ended up with the whole dvd set :P

I've just seen this last week after I picked up the 1st UK volume by Manga Entertainment which has the first 8 episodes on 2 discs.

Anyway, I thought it would be alright at best but boy was I suprised. I'm addicted to the it now and have already ordered the next double disc set from HMV.

is this suppose to be similar to cowboy Bebop...i need a filler

I haven't seen Bebop, just bits and pieces, but it seemed to me from what I saw that CB was more of a western-style something with demons. I don't think Heat Guy J is much like it; it's more of a clever buddymovie-style crime series, with a lot of humor, some very cool characters (Boma!) and a nice plot. I recommend it anyhow.

I agree with that!

Also, I wouldn't say that this series is like Bebop at all really.

Both animes have a futuristic crime fighting duo and something of a dark tone, but the similarites end there.

I had never heard of Heat Guy J until rightstuf.com had a sale on Geneon products, $4 per DVD if you bought 25 DVDs. (Sorry guys, that sale is long over.) It looked intereting, and I figured I couldn't go wrong at that price, so I bought the whole set. I started watching it last week, and I was hooked from the beginning. I'm at episode 14 now, and at the rate I'm going through them, it won't be long before I finish. But if it wasn't for that sale, I'd probably have never noticed it. This just flew under the radar for some reason, which is especially odd since you'd think it would have a fairly broad appeal.

I bought this after enjoying a few episodes that I caught on MTV2 a few years ago. I'll probably finish watching the series after I'm done watching Silent Mobius.

I got this with my Manga Force collection (a fortnightly magazine which includes an anime DVD), and I've now watched the lot, and LOVED IT! I still can't believe that no-one's heard of it.
