I mean it's a REALLY great film, and has some brilliant songs, but is it really the number 1 greatest musical EVER!?!?!

No, the whole thing was a load of ****. Miss Saigon got number 99! 99! There is no God.

He's doing Olaf impressions! Let's hit him with fruits and various meats.

I was shocked too. I almost cried, I thought "For Me and My Gal" should have got at least in the top 10, people today just don't know what they are missing. So they picked the first musical they could think of (Grease) and voted for it. Thats the only reason why Grease was #1.

For Me and My Gal is great...Grease is nice, but definitely not number one. Not even number one in its decade.

Personally, I think I have too much bloom. Maybe that's the trouble with me.

grease is ok. the sound of music is much better. and OZ should have been #1. i missed most of it, only caught the top 5.

I sitll say les mis is the best mucial of all time. Miss sigon second me and my gal is hilarious and i almost fell off my seat watching it.

I would have put Singin' in the Rain, Wizard of Oz or West Side Story as number 1 not Grease, what were these people thinking!

No I havent seen the show (I dont think you were talking to me but I will answer it) but Buffy is a tv show how can you compare a tv show to some of the greatest moments in film history. there is no way buffy could compare to some of the greatest songs of all time (Over the Rainbow, Singing in the Rain, Tonight, My favorite things, Matchmaker, I feel pretty (hehe) etc.) I'm not saying its bad (I havent seen it to judge) but common knowledge does point us in the direction that tv show "musicals" shouldnt be ranked higher than classics (Singin in the rain, Sound of music, Wizard of oz, Fiddler on the roof, West Side Story)maybe if you see some of these musicals you would agree

Yeah, this is a ridiculous list.

At least 'Miss Saigon' and 'For Me and My Gal', which folk are oft mentioning, made the list (even at appalling low numbers, under episodes of television shows, mediocre animated Disney musicals and '8 Mile') whereas great musicals like 'Oh What A Lovely War!', 'Man of La Mancha' and 'Kismet' are disgracefully absent. I know that 'Daily Mail' readers aren't known for their brains or taste but this is a terrible selection.
