What's Up with Mila's Kids?
Can Anyone tell me what's up with the weird things in Milla's Dance Party? I think they're her kids, but i don't know why they're in that cage. Why do they look like that?

shareMinor spoilers inbound, as ever.
From what I can remember, Milla ran or helped out at an orphanage, and when she went out at one point the place burned down, and everyone inside it burned to death. She's wracked with guilt over it, hence why the memory of the kids is locked away in her mind.

Those things in the cage are her nightmares. They're the same things you have to fight in the Milkman Conspiracy. Obviously Milla has her nightmares under control better than Boyd. ^_^
shareMila is in denial. She has locked away her terrifying memories and replaced them with fake happy one's. The game is mostly a humor game but has a deep dark style in it. Some of the characters in the game whose minds you visit are keeping dark secrets like sasha whose mother had died when she was young and the coach whose father was a butcher and butchered rabbits.

that was the creepiest scene in the whole game.
no wonder the place was hidden...well, I didn't see it the first time around.
rendez-vous à l'univers
This section was supposed to be a playable side quest, but they (wisely) decided not to use it.
It basically shows that not everything is what it seems and that we all have our personal demons and secrets. It also gives us something to do if a sequel ever comes out...which would be great, cause it was a great game.
I've never seen this place. Where do I find it?
It's well hidden. In the first room where you learn to float, after you hit the switch that turns on the fan to blow you to the ladder on the other side of the room. If you jump through the air, making sure not to active the float action, past the fan and then hit float, you'll see a little balcony that you can float down to. Inside the room are more figments of children that appear to be younger in age then Raz, and a few toys, (rocking horse, alphabet blocks etc) as well as a Vault which when opened, will reveal the Reel "Milla's Children", showing what she did before becoming a Psychonaut and the terrible tragedy. Milla will mention that, "that room is no fun" and suggest you go back to the party. In the corner is a huge toy chest which if you hit it open, will cause Milla to say, "you don't want to go in there, that's a party killer right there"! Jump in the toy chest and you'll wind up in a large cage that are holding back her Nightmares which are hissing, mimicking the cries of the children, "Milla!" "Why don't you save us Milla?" "Help us Milla!" "Ow! It's hot! It's burning!" "We're all alone now Milla!"
According to the developer, Tim Schaffer or someone else that worked on the game, it was originally going to be a mini boss fight in the game. Sort of like the couple times you face that one huge nightmare in The Milkman Conspiracy but the idea was canned.
If it's been fifteen years or more, it's no longer a spoiler.
It's Milla feeling guilty over something she couldn't have stopped, she went out for groceries and came back to the orphanage ablaze, the screams of the kids and the other caretaker, slowly warping in her mind from guilt..
