What's that song?

Whats the name of the song in the opening szene, and at the ending, with the "oh yeah" part in it?

reply

Oddly enough, it's Oh Yeah by Yello (written by Boris Blank & Dieter Meier). It was a big part of the Ferris Bueller's Day Off soundtrack.

reply

No, it's not. It features a lyric of "Oh Yeah" like the Yello song, but is not at all the same tune. I've been researching this one online extensively and can't come to any conclusion over the title. It's driving me nuts!

reply

first are you talking about the instumental at the end when the credits roll?
if so did you ever find the title? I too am unable to find it.

reply

Does someone have this movie on DVD? You might check it in payroll on the end.

reply

I want to know that too.

reply

Well, the song was, "Moliendo café"

I found the version used in the film on I-tunes. (One of 66 versions).

It is by a group called Fanfare Ciocarlia and it's from an album called "Piranha's World Cup Party". But there are versions out there by Julio Iglesias, Placido Domingo, etc...

reply

they are a romanian gypsy band from romania.

i nearly fell out of my chair when i heard it!
