English Version

My apologies if anyone has already asked this question.....

But will they do an English version of the film for us blokes over here in the U.S.?

I tried watching it with Eng Subs and it's impossible to keep up with the subs and the film scenery at the same time.

Thanks, if anyone knows.

Then watch it the first time to see the dialogue, and then another time to watch the scenery. Unless a movie is a cartoon, I find dubbed films unwatchable. I want to hear the actual ACTORS speak, and once I realize the actors aren't speaking the dialogue that I'm hearing, I turn the movie off.

I'll settle for being able to rent the movie on Netflix with English subtitles.

What a silly question! And lazy too!

I can tell you that it is absolutely horrible to voice over movies. It totally kills the movie.

I have seen e.g. The Terminator in both english and a voiced over version in German. It really really sucks when you do not have the original language.

Time period movies playing in a certain area in the world should ALWAYS be done in the original language IMHO.

The flair of an actor is not only in his movements, but mainly in their voice too. It why they call them actors, because they use their own voice to show you a certain performance.

They absolutely did it correct in this movie! Not going for the cheap lazy english speaking audience. At some point they were in the Low countries and I could hear some of the actors speaking Dutch. I absolutely loved that as it would be factual!
