DVD
Is there a DVD of this film? I read somewhere someone saying they had to "stop the dvd" because they were laughing very hard....
shareIf there is a DVD, I suspect that it is Canadian, because the film is being distributed by a Canadian company, Vagrant Films Releasing. They have a website under that company name.
I'd certainly like to purchase a DVD of this film in the US.
I missed the one week run in NYC in May! :(
I will buy this dvd the day it comes out though.
I hope they go with a DVD label that doesn't half-ass it. Synapse maybe? NOT Lion's Gate! If this comes out on Blu-Ray, I'm buying a player.
Just saw this again last night, and liked it even more the second time. After the house lights came on, the audience (which had laughed appreciatively during the film) just sat in stunned silence. I think they didn't want it to end.
The IMDB lists VIVA as a 2009 DVD release from a small US label known as Cult Epics. No street date as of yet, but I do hope the film is released on DVD soon.
