I don't know. I wouldn't mind Mike and co. riffing the hell out of it. The worst the movie is the better the MST3k episode. And trust me, this movie sucks so much ass. share

shareI'm not sure if this qualifies for the superlative. It certainly is a lousy movie, it's just that I am not sure that it is the worst -- worse than so many others -- there's a LOT of competition for that superlative.
The movie looks as if its ingredients were thrown together. There is a cast of seasoned feature actors - acting out a ridiculous script with sophomoric dialog and worse plotting. There's absolutely no reason to have this movie connected with Vegas - I mean it claims to happen in Vegas, and it does include some stock footage of the fronts of the casinos along the Strip, but none of the action takes place inside a casino and there is no special Vegas gimmick that contributes to the storyline. Most of the movie takes place in rooms that could have been in any city anywhere.
Evidently the movie did not have a wardrobe mistress, or if it did she was in hiding when the actors got dressed. For the first half of the movie most of the characters are late teenagers or 20-somethings wearing tee-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets that have some sort of writing on them -- school names, slogans, something. It was evidently decided after all the filming, that whatever was written on the shirts must be concealed, so a sort of digital blurring was done to every shirt no matter what it might have said. They couldn't all be naughty words, but even a sweatshirt with a school name is blurred. And the digital blurring has a shimmering effect, which distracts the viewer from the (lousy) dialog and (lousier) plot development.
The storyline is wretched. Supposedly a vampire - one - is decimating mostly young women (and most of them African-American) in Las Vegas. The police actually believe that it is a vampire, not just some maniac! The Las Vegas Police Dept, which actually has a reputation for shooting black men and getting away with it, seems to be heavy, even top heavy, with African-American personnel, which by itself isn't so bad, but we get to see two of LV's finest beat up some scatterbrained homeless guy simply because he's too far gone to be much use as a witness. In the end, the chief vampire is done in simply because he's too damn dumb to know all the basic vampire rules that the rest of us learned watching vampire movies.

It may not be the worst movie 'of ALL time', but it's nearly impossible to argue that it's not a complete pile of crap. On the crap-o-meter, it scores a whopping pile of dung, an honor shared only with a handful of worthy contenders. This flick makes Brian Bosworth film look a Shakespearian revival by comparison. share

Umm, okay, I'd have to disagree with that, and I live here.
Yeah, this movie does really suck. I don't think I've seen a movie this bad before.
man this is even worse than Blue Demon...I need to stop watching so much Showtime Beyond...

As a matter of fact, I'm watching the part where the newlywed couple is flashing a gun in the middle of the day, and the Vampires just walked into the sun.

I just watched this movie last night and a piece of me died. This was garbage. I couldn't even laugh at it. It was sooo bad.

That is what low budget B movies is for you to laugh at or even horror movies as well. LOL I love watching movies like this late at night! Cable needs to start showing stuff like this once again. I miss it a lot!
