WTF... Still a 8.2?

I thought just to swing by and see what the rating was on this one... To my surprise still a 8.2... But looking further that makes sense as only 3,817 votes bothered to vote for this movie(few years ago it was 8.6 by the way).
Which in effect is a shame. A few years ago I started the discussion why this movie should be rated higher than far better movies(to my opinion anyways). It however still rates the same or higher than (when it should be officially added to the 250 list) for instance; Fargo, Donnie Darko, Platoon, the Deer Hunter and for crying out loud (and this sure isn’t the last one worthwhile mentioning) The Big Lebowski...

People that rate this movie so high taking into consideration the movies they have seen, should be either on drugs that I don´t know the existense of(if so let me know), or out of their mind in a other for me or mankind understandable way...(which I would be interested in also as I don´t believe in alien life, but like to be convinced otherwise)

But hey that’s just my opinion. Let’s come back in a few years and see if it has the rating it deserves, I would say around 6.2. Which is good, but not as good as... You know....

Yes I am Dutch and despite not keen on Dutch movies I really liked this. So maybe I have a bad taste, this is what you want to suggest?

Regarding one thing I agree with you, it is just your opinion..

Good god, man. You started a new thread about the same subject, just so you can insult the people who do enjoy it some more? Yes, we must be either on drugs or or out of our minds. Or maybe, just maybe, it's just a difference in taste. Diferent strokes for different folks eh?

Well ram66 I can only suppose that you'd be pleased to hear that the rating has fallen to an 8 ~ I just don't understand why you care so deeply!

I thought it was a very good film that definitely deserves to remain in the 8's.
