James Caan?

Why would James Caan lower himself to this movie?

reply

I agree, but not only that...he's Jewish, and his last two movies were christmas ones. Wierd.

hey guess what? Anthony Hopkins isn't a murderous cannibal, and he plays one in the Silence of the Lambs! Go figure.

could you say ACTORS? wow. just b/c someone is jewish does not mean they are somehow not allowed to portray a character who is related to some other religion. actors act, that's their job.

my mind almost blew up when i saw the msgs on this: this was an accident right, a mistake, writing before thinking? hmm.. i sure hope so.

James Caan doesnt pick pure crap, he likes different roles.

The one thing I find the most ironic of stories for acting is that Werner Klemperer, aka. Col. Klink from Hogan's Heroes played a Nazi commandant... and he was Jewish.
Deliciously funny and a stick-it-to-them, I think. ;)

James Caan has house payments, utility bills, groceries, just like you and me. It's called you go where the work is. Caan is an awesome character actor, but THE GODFATHER was almost thirty-five years ago. Like I said, you go where the work is.

True, they're Jewish, but that really doesn't mean that they can't celebrate Christmas and I'm sorry, this movie really doesn't have anything to do with the birth of Christ.

How many non-Christians do you see celebrating Christmas? 3/4 of the US sleeps in on Sunday morning, but everyone spends hundred of dollars celebrating Christmas.

Not trying to be "holier than thou", just making a point that I think is valid.

I don't know why he did this movie. The scene he was in is the best part of the movie. The rest is 'eh'. Maybe a sense of humor he has. He did do a good job.
