One Word: Dissapointing

This movie was of great dissapointment to me. I thought I would be better. But it just turned out to be another lame Disney channel movie. I was very sad after watching it last night.

Yay! finally someone who agrees with me, I found it to be dissapointing also. Maybe I was expecting too much, but you could tell the singing was fake and the acting wasn't that good. I mean some parts were ok but I pretty much stopped watching it 10 minutes into the movie.

Yeah I mean I'm older (17) so I do have some trouble appreciating movies such as this (Disney movies in general) but I really thought it was corny.

Well, i must agree I was dissapointed because the audio didn't seem to match the mouths or the throats. For me, if you look at someone's throat while they're singing, it will clue me in to whether they are lip-syncing or not. I could very much tell that they were lip-syncing. It might have been their voices and stuff, but you could tell the songs were recorded in a studio and made to sound like they were live performances. Disney has really gone downhill in the terms that they make their movies out of. The whole holographic person idea was very bad because of the fact that you have to have a speaker in order to hear the hologram talk because something that is, as Roscoe's dad put it, "a blend of light and color" can't emulate its own sound. I guess the only thing I really liked about this movie had to be the internet scene and the whole concept of computer stuff because I'm really a computer geek, if you want to use that term. I would more label myself as a computer 'enthusiast'. so yeah, i agree it was dissapointing with the whole concept and everything but I was bored that night so it gave me something to watch. One thing I didn't understand was why there were no alarms that Sam was unhooked from her machine and how she could just walk out of a hospital, into the pouring down rain, in a lightning storm, and not have any nurses go out there to get her and take her back inside. Also, the pic of the hospital's exterior does not match what i remember being the outside that Sam walked out into.

That movie wasn't very good, I agree with all of you.

I'm 14 I'm immature [Hailey] I don't like Hilary Duff! What perfection!

You would probably be one of the director's and crew's most hated audience. I mean you found continuity errors with the hospital part, the whole idea of a hologram making sounds without a speaker (even though, the sound could come from the computer Roscoe had), and somehow going from the EKG machine being hooked up and then off her in an instant.

I agree I was disapponted as well. The lip synching was bad and saw was the plot. The part where Loretta goes into the computer was just plain stupid! Also did anyone else notice Loretta wasn't even wearing a mic during her performances? I mean I know she was supposed to be a hologram but you would think they would have taped a mic on her so the people would think she was real. Disney movies have really been bad lately. I miss the days when Johnny Tsumani and Brink came out but maybe younger kids like this kind of thing these days.

Only problem is, if she was flipping, a mic would most likely fall off her, or a least the walkie looking thing it is attached to. I am not sure if they make wireless mics...

She could have possibly had a microphone in her hand.
