How did you perceive Pecan Pie ?
I'm wondering how others perceived this, what the meaning was in your few.
sharei would guess that it is a dream sequence of some sort. or possibly just an excuse to use that bed car. where the hell did they find that thing anyways?

I think Michel Gondry and Jim Carrey just found a bed-car somewhere, so they decided to go out and goof around with it a bit :).
shareActually, I think it was done because Jim Carrey was getting on everybody's nerves on the set that day, singing a Elvis-like song non-stop. So over lunch break, Michel Gondry apparently decided to make a car out of the bed (which was involved in the shooting iirc). Then they just went out for fun and shot this.
The two gas station employees are actually well-known French comedians (Eric&Ramzy), but I have absolutely no idea how they got involved into that ...
Ah .. I'm glad to see someone setting the record straight about Eric & Ramzy. The "unknown French actors" by the reviewer is a bit harsh. lol

Well, they're pretty much unknown here in America. Besides, "french comedians"??? come on, everyone knows the french aren't funny! It's impossible to tell a joke in french, it hurts your tongue.
shareYou are wrong god... god you are wrong !!! There are a lot of french comedian... especially in Quebec... in fact there is one of the biggest Comedy Festival held in Montreal. Although this is mainly a french festival, there is an english part, Jerry Seinfeld came this year along with many others. But the local french speaking comedian attracts way more people. So please stop telling *beep* you know nothing about... AND yes Eric & Ramzy are two well known French Comedian... they are so popular they crossed the ocean and are now known through the french-canadian community.
