i think peacan pie is just astonifhing, its a masterpeice, just exilirating. Its the best movie ive ever seen...

no seriously, how the hell did it get its own board. Ive made movies that are, well, and this gets its own board (MAN!)

(ps, no ofence to Michel Gondry, next to Scorsase, Fincher, Soldenberg and others, his one of the best directors around.)

Pecan Pie is an almost flawless film. The editing in the first half of the film is perfect.

This film has definately changed my life for the better.

really, i think this is one of the many ideas that was filmed for Eternal Sunshine but not used. There were so many other ones besides this. The bed car scene even shows up in the making of Eternal Sunshine, with other scrapped ideas.

Well, maybe i'm to immature (me being only 17.) even though i didn't really get all the meanings of the objects (Is the bed our body? Is the gas station a metophor for, stuff.) I liked it, it was short and something that made me think about what it might mean, and why have a got a sudden craving for pecan pie?

reply

I'm not quite sure it has a meaning, it's just a joke, a dream. Gondry thought one day that it would be cool to be able to drive a bed, because it's way more confortable than a car, and then he imagined this short movie. You also have to know that the two guys from the gaz station are really famous french comedians.
