At the biggening, in the hospital, one of the guys from hell says " get behind me - they can't shoot alive people"...but then the reapers go on to kill lots of hospital personel...what gives??

Remember the shot of the people from hell grabbing the clothes out of the hospital cubbys? The reapers never kill hospital personel, only the people from hell who are wearing hospital scrubs, etc.
