This is one of those 'good-bad' movies

...or "it's so bad it's good" movies. Either will suffice.

I loved the description I read in the video store, and when I saw its big-name film festival acknowledgements, I thought, "Well this sounds like a sure thing."

Hahaha.

When I first turned it on, I hated it. But then, as time wore on, I slowly began to like it, but not in a serious way. I realized, "Okay, this was clearly done on a very low budget.... let's just see what they managed to do."

I'll get the bad points out of the way. Not in the least bit thrilling or frightening. There's really nothing for any of the actors to sink their teeth into, character development-wise.

Now, the good points. Pretty interesting twist, the nice school teacher brother being a bad guy, and the two guys from hell being from heaven.

Sweet ending with the young couple ending up together, too. I'd say they did a lot with such a small budget. And the story was interesting. Now if this had had a larger budget, and they still hadn't managed to deliver much more than this, I would've given this a thumbs down.

But this is one of those movies you'll either be entertained by or just laugh at. Do not expect to actually be scared though. lol

I view it basically as an creative project/art film or budget challenge, really. Well done in that regard, Gregg Bishop.
