Wow, beautifully filmed...spoiler

....but what a TRULY depressing tale! I was half-expecting the lead character to have a happy ending.
But nope. She's pregnant, and kills herself!

What was up with that doctor? He seemed to act strangely around her, was he attracted to her yet felt bad about it?
I couldn't read his character at all.

"I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus."
"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."
