There is currently several things that are happening in Springfield, MO. Check out www.blackmeadow.com for the latest news on "Nine Grounds," a film currently being produced in Springfield. We are also looking for extras for a huge crowd at a sporting event. There are also many other films happening all over town - not to mention the newly formed Missouri Film Alliance of Springfield (www.missourifilm.com) and the soon to open Moxie Theatre. And if you take a even closer look around you will see that many more "film" individuals are born and raised locals! (heck, even Bob Barker :) )

Actually this film was mostly filmed in Ozark, MO which is just south of Springfield on highway 65. Granted the hospital scene was shot in St. Johns hospital in Springfield, all of the outdoor shots were shot in Ozark. I know cause I would have to wait on the road to drive by when they were shooting.
