The was one good thing about this film

It took a while, but eventually it ended.
That's it.

Here's why:

"Spoilers" ahead.

There was no plot. Two gay guys have a 3 year relationship. One of 'em is sure, the other one isn't.
Halfway down the movie he cheats on his boyfriend.
At the end of the film it doesn't work out, and their chihuahua's death brings them back together.

This isn't a joke. It's meant as a serious drama moment. The little epileptic chihuahua doesn't get its medication, goes into seisure, is brought to the doctor who IMMEDIATLY states he should be put down and IMMEDIATLY does so.

And you just can't seem to care, because both male lead characters are one-dimensional *beep*
Their female friend is a one-dimensional twit.
The homeless guy they took into their home to give him a make-over for their TV-show who's constantly walking around is a totally useless gimmick in the film. Supposed to be comedy, but since there's no function to it it's not funny.

Really, really bad.
Any review here on IMDB that's positive is definitly written by someone who worked on the film or is friends with the director.
In interviews he seems a nice guy.

So I hope he gives up on making films and sticks to just financing them.
Because that's how his films get made: it's all his own money.

I totally agree with your review. I kept watching hoping for something consistent to happen. It was a total waste of time.

Might I also add that the actors were all awful, but the crucial character of Guy was played by a non-actor who was supposed to be sexy and mysterious but who was nothing but unintentionally hilarious. He ruined the remains of the almost non-existing plot.

It's definitely one of the worst films that I have seen.

Never seen one of his films, but from descriptions other people have given I'm starting to think Tom Six is the Dutch version of Uwe Boll.

I'll stick with Joram Lürsen and Erik van Looy for Dutch language films, then.
