'Forget About It' will screen in Hoboken on October 14th

Does anyone know if "Forget About It" actually was shown in Hoboken on the 14th? If so, how did it fare?
shareThe company posted on their website that the screening went incredibly well, and that they are encouraged about their upcoming screening at the American Film Market in early November as well. You can keep tabs on the latest developments by visiting "Big Screen Entertainment Group" website and reading their forum. There is also a website just for the movie.

Hi, the movie did in fact show in hoboken as i was one of two projectionists for it,
almost everyone envolved in the movie was there with the exception of burt.
it had a few good laughs and is worth checking out.
Thanks for the info. I can see why Burt wasn't there, have you noticed how many movies he has made in the last 12 months? Pretty busy man I'd say. Part of the film was shot in Phoenix and I'm anxious to see how it does if and when it is bought and released.
sharewell i spoke to someone who is doing promotion for the film, he should know by the end of the week whether or not it will be released
shareBig Screen Entertainment has secured theatrical distribution at selected theater chains for January 2006 release.
shareJust read a article from I-Newswire dated Oct.24th 05, titled "Forget About It",Forget about it. They said the movie was very confusing after the first 15 minutes and hard to follow. Poor lip sync, but great acting by Robert Loggia and Charles Durning, but Burt looked like he was forced to be there and had gas. This guy and his friend went to the Hoboken showing on the 14th. He gave the movie a 1/2 star. He also said he has seen many student films more entertaining and easier to watch. This translates to me that I will really enjoy the movie because anything the critics don't like, I like!
shareElaine and Bob,
Curious, there were no reviewers at this Hoboken screening as I was there and there were police officers at the door with a tight guest list. All guests were accounted for as the Chief of Police, Carmen LaBruno and Captain, Anthony Falco are some of the film's producers.
The review is bogus. The reviewer, a one "Chuck Banks", just created the "Chuck Banks Review Site" on October 20. The phone number is also bogus. All the other reviews for his previous movies are plagerized from the Chicago Tribune writer, Robert Elder and others. See for yourself.
So... why someone would go out of their way to try and hurt this film like this and the company is pretty amazing.
The film, which I've seen a number of times, is a sweet, family film that appeals to an older generation. It has received nothing but positive responses from all the screenings I have attended.
Please call Big Screen's Offices, if you'd like to be invited to a screening. Our Los Angeles number is 323 960 4014.
Regards,
David

Thank you sir for your reply. I know myself and many of my friends are going to be at the theater the first night "Forget About It" shows in our city. I don't see how it can miss with the cast and storyline. Good luck with your film. Many of us are anxious for its release.
shareI saw this film being filmed in downtown phoenix. I will one of the first in line to see it, too bad there have been so many delays. Wasn't this due for may 2005 once?
shareYou saw the filming, wow. Did Raquel look as good in real as in the trailer?
