A complete waste of...

some serious acting talent and a budget (however small that budget was, it was enough to easily produce several quality shorts).

I can not remember the last time I failed to finish watching a film, but this made it happen. "Forget about it" is unwatchable: it combines terrible script, mostly nonsensical scenes, awful low-budget "music", uninspired acting and a veritable plethora of other things that make it truly bad.

It seems like the only people rooting for this movie are longtime fans of Reynolds, Welch et al. My advice to you would be to realise that no one is immune to failure and that this movie is like the proverbial turd; it cannot be polished.

I would love to know how you watched this when it isnt even out until Jan 08, 2008 in retail stores and such?

Rental DVD in South Africa.

I am not an attorney, not even close. My time isn't even all that valuable. It is, however, valuable enough that I didn't waste it on finishing Forget about it.

You think that making short films is a smart thing to do? What for? Can you sell one? LOL.

reply

Yes, because we all know the bottom line in movie-making is the financial one, not the artistic one.

He posted it to make sure people like me don't waste my time or money on a *beep* movie.

Really too simple to understand.

I agree with the OP. I thought it was a very poor movie.

for a movie so poorly made, how did they get, welch, loggia, reynolds, tim thomerson, etc? its full of high caliber stars, but dang its so friggin cheap it looks like it was shot on a digital handheld.

Laugh, and the world laughs with you.
Weep, and the world laughs AT you.

I love Burt, Raquel, etc...but they aren't high caliber stars. Most of the films the above mention do nowadays are staright-to-video or made overseas, which is a shame. Burt still can do comedy, & wish he have a few more decent projects to do. His last good comedy, "The Crew", was a riot...but that was 10 years ago.

Whenever there is nothing I want to see on TV, I go to Amazon Prime video to play movie roulette. There are a lot of bad movies and I also turn some off after a half hour or so. I watched this one to the end and enjoyed it. Not too bad. I did notice some parts with subpar acting, but it was surprisingly watchable. I found it funny and fun. We can't all like the same things. Can't understand the intense hate for this movie.
