Coach's Son
Did the Coach's son realy played for him?
If so how could the son withdrew from Saint Francis, without his partents knowing?
Or was this just part of the movie?
They talk about it on the DVD features. His son really did play for him and I cant recall exactly how it happened. But the real Coach Carter said his son came to him, sat him down and said he wanted to play for him. I'll have to check but It was something like that.

In the movie Damien told the school that he was leaving, but I don't think it was official until his dad signed the letter.
That said - can you imagine going from that preppy private school to Richmond High? Talk about a shock to the system!

Right! To be honest I'm sure he had moments of regret but I bet it was a good learning experience (of a different sort) for him.
