Samuel L Jackson deserved an Oscar for this performance
Solid so Solid. I rank it as his top 5 performances of all time.

It was a good performance, but I wouldn't say it was Oscar worthy.
His performance in Django Unchained, now THATS Oscar worthy. ^^
His performance in Django was way over the top. I have to agree that Samuel L Deserved to be nominated for Coach Carter. We never see actors nominated for sports movies anymore.
