Sooo in this ep., while I think the whole non-electricity thing is extreme, um, the wife from the "21st century family" looks ridic. It's pretty funny and ironic that she is so shallow and appearance obsessed but looks horrible-those lips could be used as flotation devices! (and actually, I think the mom of the "poor" family is very naturally beautiful!)

That lady was being so rude and annoying. They are low class? And Poor? And beneath her? Acting like that show's that you are low class and people are beneath you. She looked terrible adn she's worried about appearances. Putting Concealer on Kids? LOL. Getting mad about donating clothes. Sad....
The other lady was ok, but her whole against modern things was extreme. Bathing in the same bath water? That's dirty... And not even sanitary. And just over the top.

Is that theone where the nasty "upper class" mom had her baby in pagents? I remember her putting concealer on her daughter in that one, and the worst part was definitley how horrible her attitude towards everyone else was...she was not even close to being cute enough to pull that off. She just seemed ugly, inside and out!
shareThis episode is on right now as a rerun but I am watching it for the first time. I can't believe how rude the 21st century lady is. Calling the people poor, lazy and beneath her is just rediculous. I can't believe she was that rude to them. If that is the way that they want to live their lives, that is not her choice so she shouldn't be so self centered.
She talked about them not having money and how during dinner they were praying for things that they were gratful for. She said that they didn't have anything to be grateful for. Money doesn't buy family and the togetherness that a family can bring. She thinks that just because she has a lot of money that she has more things to be thankful for than they do.
PS-I think the lady from the other family, the one who doesn't have electricity, is very pretty and even without makeup she looked good.
