Had potential but amounted to nothing!! very disappointing

To those getting it online, if u have to wait more then a day(or 2 wks) ..dont waste your time. It was okay in the beginning then became a little interesting b/c it was mixed w/ some pretty interesting fantasy ...but then the parts that didnt make sense, wasnt explained, 'and/or' didnt fit in, began piling up. It just went over the deep end once Ushna died (before being reincarnated). IDK why they bothered to smear so much BLACK eyeliner all around the 1st Ushna's eyes in the desert, and the 2nd Ushna's acting was very disppointing. They put long glitter powder-blue fake eyelashes on her & dressed this tall skinny woman like a little girl.

Now I understand why there werent that many thanks or kudos given to this film yet very "few" said it was so wonderful ..christ

Perhaps you saw the heavily edited Theatrical version, which agreeably isn't that great. The Director's Cut on the other hand is considerably longer (40 minutes I think), fills in several of the "holes" you mentioned, and is IMO a masterpiece of cinema.
I got my director's cut version in a double DVD set in Germany, where it was included along with the theatrical version. There really isn't any comparison between the two.
